Fleet supervisor

As a Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, managing drivers, and ensuring that all transportation activities align with the company’s goals and standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with various departments, clients , and team members to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities 

•  Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the vehicle fleet (trucks and heavy equipment).
•  Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
•  Monitor driver performance and provide necessary training or feedback.
•  Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and expenses.
•  Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
•  Collaborate with other departments to meet operational needs.
•  Address and resolve any issues related to fleet operations promptly.

•  Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
•  Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
•  Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
•  Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
•  Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
•  Proficiency in windows software.
•  Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
•  A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
